A Case of Thrust
A picture tonight, 24 hours after first application. 
My daughter has a case of thrush (a yeast infection in her mouth). We have had it before in the family. The standard treatment is a topical medicine called nystatin but the taste and smell is horrid. So going to the doctor just to get a Rx for it would be a waste of time and money.
With a recent case involving Mommy & Baby we tried coconut oil, a suggestion from my midwife. It seemed to help but still took about a two and a half weeks to clear it up.
So after some research online, the main advice is cut out sugar, yeast, and add probiotics. With it being late summer, makes it hard to cut sugar out of my daughter's diet with berries all over the yard. We don't eat bread so that was already out. I had some plain yogurt and Good Belly Juice so I started added extra serving of those. I already cook with coconut oil, so what else could I do?
Since receiving my oils, I have been waiting for something "big" to try them out on. The Everyday Oils Kit includes nine oils, four neat and five blends; Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, PanAway, Peace & Calming, Purification, Thieves, and Valor. The Thieves oil blend is highly antibacterial and antiviral.
I decided to try the Thieves oil but wasn't sure how to apply it with a child who doesn't like new things. So I mixed one drop thieves in two teaspoons coconut oil. The first application was painful for her but the burning went away after a few minutes. Since then she has applied it by herself several times. It's been about 24 hours since the first application and it has already improved a lot. I will update as things progress.
Update:
By Sunday the eighteenth, the thrust was gone. It took a little longer as she would not stay away from ice cream and popsicles on these hot days. We saw improvement right away. Then she hid the container of oil. We did on average four applications a day.
